An attendance system that reaches payroll on its own

Three independent check-in methods for the office, the branch and the field, fixed and flexible shifts, and automatic lateness, early-leave and overtime — landing in payroll each month with no manual transfer.

What is an attendance system?

An attendance system records when an employee arrives and leaves, compares it against an approved shift, and turns it into numbers: how many minutes late, how many overtime hours, whether they left early. What separates one system from another is not the timestamp — it is what happens next.

In separate systems it stops at a monthly report that someone carries by hand into the payroll file. In Barez the number reaches payroll on its own: overtime hours become an allowance at the statutory rate, late minutes enter the penalty schedule, and absence shows up in the month's sheet.

Attendance itself also differs by the nature of the work. Office staff check in at a device by the door, branch staff from their phone inside the branch radius, and site staff from several approved locations. A system that forces one method leaves half your team outside it.

What the system does

Three independent check-in methods

Geo-location across multiple approved sites, face verification, or fingerprint devices — pick what fits each group in your team.

Fixed and flexible shifts

A shift with set hours, or a flexible shift with a daily hour count whose start the employee chooses — the system computes both by their own rules.

Grace period and excuses

Grace minutes you define before lateness counts, plus an excuse request the employee raises for a specific day that runs through approval.

Automatic calculation

Lateness, early leave, overtime and absence are computed the moment the day closes — no side spreadsheet.

Protected punch correction

The employee requests a punch fix, and once approved the day and its violations are recomputed from scratch — no silent edits to the record.

Feeds payroll directly

The month's result arrives in payroll ready: overtime allowance, lateness deduction, and the effect of absence.

The regulatory side

A penalty schedule matching the regulation

Four escalating steps per violation, split by whether the work of others was disrupted — exactly as written in the regulation.

Overtime pay

An overtime hour is computed at the hourly wage plus 50% per Article 107, and enters payroll at that rate.

A record that holds up

Every punch, correction and approval is logged with its time and its author in an audit trail that cannot be erased.

Frequently asked questions

How do field employees check in away from the office?

+

From their phone by geo-location. You define one or more sites and a radius for each, and the system accepts check-in only inside that radius. You can also require face verification at the same moment.

Does it stop buddy-punching?

+

Yes. Face verification ties the punch to its owner, geo-location blocks check-in from outside the work radius, and fingerprint devices log under the fingerprint's owner.

What is the difference between a fixed and a flexible shift?

+

A fixed shift has set start and end times and lateness is measured against them. A flexible shift enforces a daily hour count and the employee picks the start — so the calculation is on total hours, not arrival time.

What if an employee forgets to punch out?

+

They raise a punch-fix request with the correct time and it runs through approval. Once approved, the system recomputes the whole day and its violations, so no error survives into payroll.

Does attendance data reach payroll automatically?

+

Yes, and this is the point of the module. Overtime allowance, lateness deduction and the effect of absence enter the month's payroll on their own — no export, no manual transfer.

Can I exempt a day or an employee from the calculation?

+

Yes — through an approved excuse for a specific day, a grace period you set for everyone, or shift settings per group.
